Although I am investigating Hootsuite, Reeder connected to my Google Reeder account is a great way to read your RSS feeds. Flipboard is great for Facebook and twitter. I use Reeder and Flipboard every day.
ReadItLater and/or Instapaper is great for saving on the iPad and reading later on the iPad or computer. Nor real help is the Readability bookmarklets. It is kind of tricky to install on Safari on the iPad but truly makes webpages readable.
I have added several new links BELOW to webpages with accessories for iPads and especially for iPad2. (I think they really work with both, but I'll go with the advertising hook).
